TCFIRM Ltd, trading as The Commission Firm (“TCF”), is the controller for personal information collected through this website. This notice explains what is collected, why it is used and who it may be shared with.

TCF may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, address or service area, project requirements, messages, supplied asset links, payment status and technical anti-abuse information. Card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout and are not stored by TCF.
2. Why we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries, assess and quote projects, deliver agreed services, request and reconcile payments, keep project and accounting records, secure the website and resolve disputes. We do not sell personal information or use enquiry details for unrelated bulk marketing.
3. Lawful bases
We generally process information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract or to perform a contract. We may also rely on legitimate interests for proportionate business administration, fraud prevention and service improvement, after considering your rights. Legal obligations may require accounting or transaction records to be retained.
4. Who receives it
Information may be processed by carefully selected service providers that operate website hosting and databases, transactional email, payment processing and essential business systems. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy terms. Providers may process data outside the UK using applicable safeguards.
5. Retention
Unsuccessful enquiry and project-brief records are normally reviewed and deleted or anonymised within 24 months. Contract, payment and accounting records may be kept longer where needed for legal, tax or dispute purposes. Anti-abuse records are kept only as long as needed to protect the service.
6. Security
TCF uses access controls, private owner authentication, encrypted connections, restricted payment links, verified payment webhooks and service-provider security controls. No online system is risk-free, so access is limited to what is needed.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to certain processing, or receive portable information. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Some rights are subject to legal exemptions.
8. Cookies and analytics
The core public website does not currently use advertising cookies. Essential security, authentication or payment technology may use strictly necessary storage. If non-essential analytics or advertising cookies are added, this notice and the consent controls will be updated first.
